Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2
Grease twelve 2-2 1/2 inch muffin pan cups.
Step 3
Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda cinnamon and salt into large bowl.
Step 4
Beat egg, sour cream and milk in a second bowl to blend well.
Step 5
Stir this sour cream mixture into flour mixture only until just blended.
Step 6
Batter will be stiff.
Step 7
Fold in raisins as you stir.
Step 8
Spoon batter into prepared muffin pan cups.
Step 9
Fill each nearly to top.
Step 10
Bake 20-22 minutes until golden brown and sharp knife inserted in muffin comes out clean.
Step 11
Makes 12 muffins.
