"When I was a kid in the 1950s-60s, my best friend's mom would make this on Friday nights and I would often be invited for dinner, because I thought this was the best food ever and my mom wouldn't make it, because no one else in the family liked it. I have been making it this way for myself for years when I want comfort food."

We enjoyed this dish. I don't normally add the potato chip topping that many recipes include, so was a little apprehensive about adding them to the main part of the casserole as well. It turned out good and we devoured it. Thanks for sharing, Mike. Made for FYC tag.

Very good tuna casserole with a difference! I admit I was a tad apprehensive when I tagged this recipe -- so it is really good and you don't really taste the chips at all. Next time I will add frozen peas, a great recipe! Thanks for sharing!
