Step by Step Method
Step 1
Add meat and bones and remaining ingredients to a large pot and cover with water.
Step 2
Slowly bring to a boil, and then let it simmer for 2 to 3 hours, adding water as needed.
Step 3
Strain and cool in refrigerator until fat solidifies.
Step 4
Remove fat.
Step 5
Pour in airtight containers, store in refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for future use.
