"My mother, grandmother, aunt and all my sisters make this potato salad. It goes fast at potlucks mom once owned a store and sold potato salad and sometimes people came in and purchased that only. I often add red onion and dry dill weed."

We thoroughly enjoyed your Mom's potato salad! The dill pickles made it for me, that wee punch of acid kicked it up. Did make a change, used green onions as is our preference. I know my visiting family will enjoy it too. Thanks for sharing!

Excellent Potato Salad! Come gathering time our family recipe is the go to but we also love variety and this potato salad was as good as I thought it would be. I only used 2 small dill pickles and added diced onion (we love onions in our salads) It was much enjoyed. I love mom and grandma recipes!

We really did enjoy this salad, with our B.B.Q. last night. I was not sure if the eggs should be chopped, or halved, so I chopped the egg and mixed it through. A very easy recipe to make and very tasty, we loved the dill pickle in this salad, I also used red onion and that went so well in this salad. The preparation details are not very good in the recipe, but I just mixed it all through using the exact ingredients as written.

Great tasting potato salad! We loved it with the dill pickles. We don't like it with the sweet at all so I thought I would pick one that didn't have it. This passed the taste test with the big crowd we had for Memorial day. It will be made again!
