"We were able to get a really good deal on " Country Style Ribs " ($1.49lb),so we bought 10lbs. And I was on the search for a recipe to use some of those ribs, and found this recipe in my copy of the 2002 Taste Of Home Quick Cooking cookbook. It was sent in to them by Yvonne White from Williamson, New York. I did leave out the 1/8 tsp. of hot pepper sauce when combining the sauce ingredients. If so desired, please add. My SO said this recipe was a " Good SOLID 4*'s " and I knew then that this was a winner and had to be posted. :)If you're making this, PLEASE plan ahead this takes 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete. Posted to " ZAAR " on 8/20/15. " Keep Smiling :)"

Tips & Variations

No special items needed.

I cut the recipe down for 2 lbs of ribs and adjusted the ingredients accordingly. I did use less chili powder for just a little heat. I used No Sugar added ketchup so it wasn't too sweet also. They tasted good, but I should have checked a little earlier than I did because they stuck to the pan, and weren't as juicy or tender as they should have been.

these are great! Our ribs came off the sale rack and these worked out wonderfully with them! No changes except I used less worcherstshire than called for and a bit less chili powder. Thanks for sharing!
