Step by Step Method

Step 1

Cook the potatoes in boiling salted water until tender, 20-25 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Step 2

In a large saucepan, heat the butter and oil. Add the potatoes and saute for 8-10 minutes. Add the garlic, salt, pepper, lemon juice and Tabasco sauce, lower the heat and cook for 3-4 minutes or until the garlic turns a golden color; be careful not to burn the garlic.

We used fingerling potatoes and made as directed. Next time I will probably use less butter but these are great potatoes. Thanks for sharing!

So good! I used regular red rose potatoes, cut in half, because I already had them. Instead of Tabasco, I used Cholula (original flavor). These were bright, lemony and spicy - loved them! Thanks for posting!
