Step 1: Cook the potatoes in boiling salted water until tender, 20-25 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: In a large saucepan, heat the butter and oil. Add the potatoes and saute for 8-10 minutes. Add the garlic, salt, pepper, lemon juice and Tabasco sauce, lower the heat and cook for 3-4 minutes or until the garlic turns a golden color; be careful not to burn the garlic.
