"A nice way to fancy up canned green beans. Adapted from María Teresa Bermúdez' Mexican Family Favorites cookbook."
In saucepan, heat oil and brown the flour.
Dissolve chili powder in water, then add to browned flour.
Add seasonings, mix in green beans.
Add cheese and cover, simmering until cheese melts.
Keep covered until ready to serve.
