Step by Step Method
Step 1
Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes. Put potatoes in saucepan, and pour in enough water to barely cover them. Bring to a boil, and turn heat down to medium. Cover with a lis and cook until fork-tender, drain well and put them back into the saucepan.
Step 2
Add salt, butter and warmed half and half. Mix with potato masher or electric mixer until smooth and creamy. If needed add in more salt.
