Step by Step Method
Step 1
Mix all crust items together.
Step 2
Line pie crust.
Step 3
For filling, beat egg yolk with brown sugar.
Step 4
Dissolve gelatin with a little cold water.
Step 5
In another pan boil syrup.
Step 6
Add to egg yolk mixture. Be sure to temper it or you will have scrambled egg.
Step 7
Add gelatin mixture while still hot.
Step 8
Let cool, but not thickened.
Step 9
Add the whipped cream and a couple drops of maple flavoring.
Step 10
Pour into crust and top with nuts
Step 11
Chill overnight.
