Step 1: Mix all crust items together.
Step 2: Line pie crust.
Step 3: For filling, beat egg yolk with brown sugar.
Step 4: Dissolve gelatin with a little cold water.
Step 5: In another pan boil syrup.
Step 6: Add to egg yolk mixture. Be sure to temper it or you will have scrambled egg.
Step 7: Add gelatin mixture while still hot.
Step 8: Let cool, but not thickened.
Step 9: Add the whipped cream and a couple drops of maple flavoring.
Step 10: Pour into crust and top with nuts
Step 11: Chill overnight.
