Step by Step Method
Step 1
In pan over medium heat stir silvered almonds and sugar until the sugar is melted and almonds are coated. Cool, set aside
Step 2
Place dressing ingredients in jar with fitted lid. Shake to mix, refrigerate - best for several hours or overnight to mellow
Step 3
In a large glass salad bowl, tear salad greens into bite size pieces, add onions and celery
Step 4
Just before serving, shake dressing, pour over greens, lightly toss to mix. Gently add oranges. Sprinkle silvered almonds on top
