Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400F.
Step 2
Put margarine, cooking oil, cocoa and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

Sift together the flour and sugar.

Pour chocolate sauce over dry ingredients and mix well.

Then add the buttermilk, eggs, baking soda and vanilla.

Pour into greased large jelly roll pan.

Bake for 20 minutes.

While cake is hot, frost with this frosting:

Bring margarine, cocoa and buttermilk to boiling point.

Remove from heat and add rest of ingredients.

Frost.

When cool, cut into squares.
