Step 1: Preheat oven to 400F.
Step 2: Put margarine, cooking oil, cocoa and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Step 3: Sift together the flour and sugar.
Step 4: Pour chocolate sauce over dry ingredients and mix well.
Step 5: Then add the buttermilk, eggs, baking soda and vanilla.
Step 6: Pour into greased large jelly roll pan.
Step 7: Bake for 20 minutes.
Step 8: While cake is hot, frost with this frosting:
Step 9: Bring margarine, cocoa and buttermilk to boiling point.
Step 10: Remove from heat and add rest of ingredients.
Step 11: Frost.
Step 12: When cool, cut into squares.
Step 13: Makes 30 large squares.
