"I have eaten a lot of pumpkin pie and in my opinion, this is the very best. It has been on the can of One Pie Pumpkin for years and years. One Pie is made in Maine. If you can't get this brand, any one will be fine as it is the combination of flavors in the recipe that is soooo good."
In a large bowl put the first 7 ingredients; mix well.
Add the beaten eggs, melted butter, and molasses; mix well.
Slowly add the milk stirring well; then pour into a crust-lined pie plate.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees and bake for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue to bake for another 50 minutes.
Take out and cool.
