"Hubby's nephew Ryan brought these to Christmas a few years back and they were a big hit. These can be made ahead and baked right before the party. I like them better than our traditional Smokies in the Crockpot."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a rimmed baking sheet. (Original recipe called for lining the sheet with foil, but it sticks to the bacon. I'd rather just clean the baking sheet.)
Step 2
Cut bacon in thirds and wrap a piece around each little smokie, securing with a toothpick and placing on baking sheet.
Step 3
Sprinkle with brown sugar and bake for 15 minutes, turn little smokies over and cook an additional 10-15 minutes, or until bacon is done.
Step 4
If necessary, broil for a minute, but watch carefully!
