Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a rimmed baking sheet. (Original recipe called for lining the sheet with foil, but it sticks to the bacon. I'd rather just clean the baking sheet.)
Step 2: Cut bacon in thirds and wrap a piece around each little smokie, securing with a toothpick and placing on baking sheet.
Step 3: Sprinkle with brown sugar and bake for 15 minutes, turn little smokies over and cook an additional 10-15 minutes, or until bacon is done.
Step 4: If necessary, broil for a minute, but watch carefully!
