Step by Step Method

Step 1

Sauté the onion in butter until light brown.

Step 2

Mix with the remaining ingredients except buns. Split the buns and put a 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch patty on the split side of the buns. (Will be open faced)

Step 3

Put the meat all the way to the edge. Store in a refrigerator to firm the beef until ready to cook. Broil 6 inches away from the heat for 6 to 8 minutes.

Step 4

Put on condiments as you like.

Yummy burger. I misread the recipe (should have slowed down, lol). I sauteed the onions rather than leave them raw. I've never added horseradish to a burger before but liked it a lot. Easy and good. Thanks for sharing, Dee.
