Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a one quart baking dish. (This dish will set in a hot water bath).
Step 2
Separate eggs and beat egg whites until stiff.
Step 3
In separate bowl, whisk togehter flour, sugar and salt. Add lemon juice, egg yolks and milk, stir together.
Step 4
Fold in beaten egg whites (fold well) and pour into baking dish. Set dish in pan of hot water 1" deep and bake for 50-60 minutes.
Step 5
Sift powdered sugar on top.
