I was going to use pollock in this recipe and thought it was what I pulled out of the freezer, but lo-and-behold, I defrosted salmon instead. Therefore, used it in this recipe, which came out Fab! However, I salted and peppered the fish prior to cooking to bring out the flavors. Thanks so much for sharing MsPia! Made it for PickMe Tag game.

Not much could be easier than this simple but delicious fish! I used haddock and it was just right for this recipe.

This is so simple and easy to make. We are not big fish eaters here, so this made for a different dinner for all of us. We loved the added lemon, but next time I will use a different type of fish, the actual fish I used was Blue Grenadier and the fish itself seemed so bland, actually if it wasn't for this recipe and the way it was cooked it would not have made the grade at all. So Thanks Pia, for making my fish ordinary fish taste semi great. I will be making this great recipe again, but I just to have to find the right fish next time!

I scaled back for one serve and my fish was an exceptionally thick piece and before it was anywhere near cooked the butter had totally burnt so I put the fish on a tray and put it in the oven to finish cooking and cleaned the pan and put some fresh butter, lemon zest and parsley in and then the lemon juice and then returned the fish to the pan and when I sat down to eat it was beautifully cooked and the sauce was a total delight and went so well with the fish thank you MsPia, made for Billboard Recipe Tag game.

Lovely simple dish! Used a large piece of ling cod that I cut in half. Subbed the lemon zest for orange & lime that I had dried in the summer. Definitely will be making this again! Thank you Pia for sharing.
