"This is a margarita recipe made famous by La Cava del Tequila in Walt Disney World's EPCOT Mexico pavilion. Don't let the avocado scare you away from making this delicious margarita recipe. It is a MUST for us whenever we visit WDW. I ordered the hibiscus salt from Amazon but you can always use regular coarse salt if you don't have it."

I had an avocado margarita once at Rick Bayless' Frontera Grill in Disney Springs. I've been thinking about it ever since... And this margarita tastes exactly like that one! So good! Instead of spending $9 for a package of hibiscus salt, I made my own by crushing dried hibiscus flowers in a mortar and adding kosher salt. What a great looking and great tasting rim! The avocado flavor is very subtle, but it definitely gives the margarita a silky mouth-feel. Again, so good! I didn't add any agave syrup because the Grand Marnier and Midori already added more than enough sweetness. Thanks for sharing!
