Soften gelatin in cold milk

Dissolve gelatin mixture in scalded milk

In double boiler

Boil water underneath

Add sugar pinch of salt and cocoa

Pour in boiling water

Whisk

Add gelatin mixture with egg yolk tempered in

Whisk

Until thickened whisking constantly

Off heat

Add vanilla

Temper in egg white (it says to let cool first but the heat should kill bad things lol)

Put in mold

Chill until firm serve with whipped cream if you like
