"An easy and delicious sherbet, that has less sugar than the commercial versions. You can make 4 flavors, as instructed below, or just one. And, you can choose your own flavors - any jellos will work! COOK TIME IS CHURNING TIME. DOES NOT INCLUDE 4 HOUR FREEZER TIME."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Place 4 medium glass bowls in the freezer for about 30 minutes before starting.

Step 2

In a large bowl, whisk together the Junket Ice Cream Mix, whole milk and heavy whipping cream until fully dissolved.

Step 3

Pour the mixture gently into your ice cream maker and process according to the manufacturer's directions. Churn until done. In my Cuisinart, this takes about 30 minutes.

Step 4

Remove the 4 glass bowls from the freezer and equally divide the ice cream among the bowls. Place 1/2 tablespoon of Jello powder in each bowl and gently mix with a spoon until fully combined. Do this quickly so ice cream does not melt.

Step 5

Put the 4 different ice cream flavors into an airtight container. Place the flavors in a square pattern, adjacent to each other. Gently, use the back of a spoon to connect the 4 different flavors, so that they freeze as one unit.

Step 6

Seal the container and freeze for 4 hours before serving.
