Step by Step Method

Step 1

Make Jell-O your choice of flavors. Mom made red; strawberry or cherry. Let chill until almost set.

Step 2

Make pudding with the vanilla pudding mix and milk. You can make whatever flavor trips your trigger; Mom always made vanilla.

Step 3

Start a layer of pudding in clear wide mouthed glass. Add a layer of Jell-O. Add layer of pudding, the Jell-O, then pudding.

Step 4

Do 4 glasses that way.

Step 5

Chill for a couple of hours until Jell-O is completely set.

Step 6

Serve.

Step 7

Can top with whipped cream if you want to be really fancy.

Fast and easy dessert. Kids loved it, husband was sad there wasn't a second one for him hidden in the back of the refrigerator. I used sugar-free black cherry jello and sugar-free vanilla pudding. I would definitely have added some whipped cream, if there was some in the house. The family has requested I make this again and I'm happy to do so. Very much enjoyed this sweet treat.

So simple and ever so good! My husband’s sweet tooth was acting up something fierce tonight and I can tell you that he was over the moon when I made this. We all loved it and in a pinch it can be made without a whole lot of ingredients. Thanks so much, Dee, for sharing this classic desert. Made it “For your Consideration” tag game.

5 stars all day everyday. This is my dh's type of dessert. He was over the moon. He ate all four and then asked for more... too funny. The dessert had a nice consistency and flavor. I topped it with cool whip and a strawberry. Thanks so much for sharing. He will be enjoying this often. He told me if I won't make it he will... hehehe... Made FYC tag game.

Forgot how tasty these parfaits were. I used black cherry jello and chocolate pudding since those are our favorite flavors. A simple dessert with so many flavor possibilities to try. Thanks Dee for sharing this oldie but goodie! Made and reviewed for the Alphabet Tag game.

Mom Florence sure knew how to please her kid's, and adult's of this house also! I made with chocolate pudding and strawberry and blueberry jelly. We really enjoyed it and next time I am going with the original vanilla pudding with the strawberry. All round winner here!

This made a very light but tasty dessert. I used sugar-free gelatin and pudding, in cherry and vanilla, but I am going to try orange and chocolate next time.
