Step by Step Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. (the original recipe did not specify oven temp)
Step 2
Butter each slice of bread and then cut in half into triangles.
Step 3
In a bowl whisk together the next 4 ingredients plus the Baileys.
Step 4
Layer the bread triangles in a buttered 9 x 12 inch baking dish and then the mixture over the bread and let stand for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Sprinkle with icing sugar (confectioners sugar) and bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes or until done.
Step 6
Dust with icing sugar and serve with cream or ice cream.
