"For soup they used 2 6 ounce cans, I'm using 12 ounce can. They used 2 1/2 teaspoons salt, I'm not. You may need some beef bouillon; use a cube if you do."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Heat oil and add onions and celery, season lightly and cook until translucent.

Step 2

Add garlic, tomato paste, water and broth, rinsing out tomato paste can.

Step 3

Add rest of soup ingredients.

Step 4

Cook 60 minutes stirring occasionally, adding water as needed.

Step 5

Add the add ins, and simmer for 15 minutes more until macaroni is al dente.

Step 6

Season to taste.
