Step 1
Put beans and hominy undrained into crockpot add water ham and seasoning to taste
Step 2
Can put in a dried chili pepper if you wish
Step 3
Turn on low cook for 8 hours adding water if needed
Step 4
When beans are almost done char the chilies in the broiler or on gas grill
Step 5
When blacked put in paper bag to steam skin off
Step 6
Remove skin and chop into a bowl on side
Step 7
And serve cleaned green onion and red onion on side also season to taste on the beans
