"I saw this being made on T.V. (Ben's Menu) Quick and easy, and fantastic to serve with drinks. Much better than anything you can buy, I added some dried mustard to my last batch. Serve warm BUT even after they have cooled, the cashews may stick together but.... still, they are easy to separate for serving."

Made for the Pick Me tag game - These snack cashews are an easy-fix & esp good for events like the Super Bowl coming up. I had no problem w/mine sticking together, but they are a bit sticky to handle so have some damp paper towels ready. The heat level is ideal for someone who wants it present & lasting, but not overly so. It took some research to get it right as cayenne pepper & cayenne powder are not the same thing & there are 2 ways to make the powder. I used the spice blend of cumin, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, paprika & oregano. These were fun to make & will be served to a US dinner guest this evening. Thx for sharing the recipe w/us.
