Step by Step Method
Step 1
Brown ground beef and onion in 5-quart Dutch oven and drain.
Step 2
Stir in all remaining ingredients except spinach bring to a boil and reduce heat.
Step 3
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Add frozen spinach; cover and simmer for an additional 25 minutes.
Step 5
Stir to blend spinach into soup.
Step 6
Remove bay leaf.
Step 7
Season to taste.
