Step 1

Trim fat from ham.

Step 2

Lightly score ham slice in a diamond pattern using a sharp knife.

Step 3

Place in an 11 x 7 inch baking dish.

Step 4

Combine next 4 ingredients in a bowl, stirring well with a whisk; spread mixture over ham.

Step 5

Cover with heavy-duty plastic wrap and vent.

Step 6

Microwave at HIGH 4 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

Step 7

Remove ham from dish, and cut into 4 equal pieces; set aside, and keep warm.

Step 8

Combine pineapple juice and cornstarch in a 1-cup glass measure; stir well.

Step 9

Microwave at HIGH 1 1/2 minutes or until thick and bubbly; stir well.

Step 10

Serve pineapple sauce with ham.

No special items needed.



I put my pineapple slices in the skillet and browned them. Ended up with the ham in the oven.....my microwave is too small. (I rarely use one). The pineapple sauce is delicious! Big hit here.

Nice & super simple preparation with the provided microwave instructions. I found the ham sweet enough and nicely seasoned. Served with a savory lime sweet potato and green salad.
