Step by Step Method

Step 1

Scrub the potatoes well leaving the skin on; cut them into 1/4 inch slices.

Step 2

Place the potatoes in a bowl and cover with water.

Step 3

Soak for a couple of hours.

Step 4

Drain the potatoes and pat them dry.

Step 5

Mix the oil and onion salt together and brush over the potato slices.

Step 6

Place the potato slices on a preheated medium high grill; cook for 4 to 5 minutes each side, until they are cooked through.

This was a bit of a surprise...it was so tasty with just the olive oil and onion salt...I didn't need to add anything else...the potatoes turned out nice and tender...we will be having these again...made for "Billboard" tag game...
