"This recipe comes from a book called "Cooking Light Comfort Food" It's very filling and Yummy! Kids would enjoy this in the mornings. The variation is Add 2 - 3 tsp mini dark chocolate chips. Use your favorite preserves in place of the pineapple jam."

Step by Step Method

Step 1

Heat small skillet, meanwhile,

Butter 1 side of each slice of bread

Step 3

Mix peanut butter and honey.

Step 4

Spread on both slices of bread, not the side you buttered.

Step 5

Cut banana in half.

Step 6

Slice banana lengthwise into 3 slices.

Step 7

Slice strawberries into 3-4 slices. (Use enough berries to cover bananas)

Step 8

Lay bananas in a single layer on 1 slice bread, peanut butter side.

Step 9

Lay strawberries in top of bananas.

Step 10

Spread jam on top.

This is where you would add your mini chocolate chips)


Step 11

Lay the 2nd slice of bread on top peanut butter side down.

Step 12

Put in your hot skillet and brown on both sides.

Step 13

Remove from skillet and enjoy!
