"I admit this sound's a little different ... but try it! Grilled or pan fried this cabbage serve this as a side to any protein, or just on its own (as I prefer) and you might just like this. Just great for a Barbie! Pending on how big your cabbage is you may like to cut this into 8 wedges."

Step 1

Brush the cabbage with olive oil.

Step 2

Heat a BBQ plate or a fry pan and grill/fry wedged cabbage on each side til golden brown and tender.

Step 3

Keep cabbage wedges warm; Cook the diced onion in the same pan/grill until just soft, then add the garlic to the pan to soften, then add the wine, cream and mustard. and bring to a boil and then reduce heat, simmer cream sauce for about 5 minutes or until the sauce thickens slightly.

Step 4

Pour the sauce over the cabbage wedges, sprinkle on the chopped chives and serve.

Very good and a very different and delicious way to make red cabbage. I skipped the wine and the chives but otherwise made as directed using a grilling pan on top of the stove. Thanks for sharing!
