Step 1

In a food processor or blender blend the first 5 ingredients (butter - salt) until smooth. Wrap the butter in plastic forming a 1 1/2 diameter log and then refrigerate until cold (2 hours or up to one day).

Step 2

Prepare grill to medium high heat.

Step 3

Working in batches cook corn in a large pot of boiling water until tender (5 minutes); drain.

Step 4

Grill corn for 5 minutes, turning occasionally.

Step 5

Serve corn with thick slices of the butter.

I scaled this WAY down to serve four... wow, that seasoned butter is DELICIOUS on corn. I skipped the boiling of the corn and just cooked it in tin foil on the grill because it's HOT in my house and I already had the grill going. Other than that, followed the directions exactly. I brushed a light coating of the butter over the hot corn and wished I had made MORE of the butter. And corn on the cob is always a hit at my house and this was appreciated by my whole family.
