Step 1

Preheat grill to medium.

Step 2

In a bowl combine the first 5 ingredients (-garlic). Shape into 4 patties, spray patties on both sides with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 3

Spray onion rounds with nonstick spray. Place patties and onions on the grill and cook turning once until burgers are done and onion is lightly charred (8-10 minutes).

Step 4

Spray pineapple slices on both sides with nonstick cooking spray and grill turning once until lightly charred (under 5 minutes).

Step 5

Place burgers on plates, topping each burger with 1 pineapple slice and 1 onion slice, separated into rings. Sprinkle with cilantro if using.

The flavor of the burger is spot on...I used a 4 pt bun and it was worth it...I totally forgot about the cilantro until I saw Bergy's photo's...so next time...and there will be a next time...I'll remember the cilantro...the hubby enjoy some onion rings with his...made for "Billboard" tag game...

Bergy (RIP" Forever in our Kitchen)

This was a WW recipe without the bun. I used crushed pineapple instead of a slice (I had it on hand). A great tasting burger that we enjoyed and will be made again. Loved the thick onion slice.
