Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix first 4 ingredients for cookie dough with a spoon. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 24 hours.

Step 2

Make filling in bowl by mixing with a spoon.

Step 3

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 4

Roll out on board dusted with powdered sugar to 1/4 inch thick. Cut out in 3 inch circles. Put 1 teaspoon filling in center of each circle. Fold over and seal edges, and push in center-side of "fat" side with thumb to make it look like a crescent shape.

Step 5

Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove and let cool completely. Then coat well in powdered sugar.

They are easy to make and taste great. They were eaten up in no time with my husband being the biggest piggy at the cookie jar!
