Step by Step Method
Step 1
Mix the corn and Lima beans with the water in large sauce pan, cover and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Step 2
Reduce heat and simmer until cooked but not mushy.
Step 3
Mix in the slurry and cook until lightly thickened.
Step 4
Add more liquid if needed but it's supposed to be light and buttery.
Step 5
Add butter and season to taste.
