Step by Step Method
Step 1
Add salt to water for noodles, bring to a boil and add noodles, cooking 7-8 minutes. Grease a 4 quart deep casserole dish.
Step 2
Combine sour cream, cream cheese and green onions. When noodles are done cooking, drain and immediately stir in sour cream mixture. Taste and adjust seasoning, then pour into casserole dish.
Step 3
Brown ground beef and onion. Add remaining sauce ingredients to meat and cook ten minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning. Pour into prepared baking dish.
Step 4
Bake uncovered for 35 minutes, sprinkle cheese on top and bake until cheese is melted. If made the day before, remove from fridge a few hours before baking and add 10-15 minutes to cooking time.
