Great one-dish meal! I loved the ginger and the flavor of the sauce. The recipe comes together quickly and is big on flavor. I ate this without ramen, but served it with ramen to everyone else. Thank you!

Snuck in just under the wire to make it into my best of the year cookbook! It was very gingery (in a good way) and the beef broth gives it a wonderful richness. Changes I made for personal preferences: omitted honey, sprinkled garlic and red pepper over so likely much less, and used ground turkey at half the amount (made up the rest in other veggies - water chestnuts and green onions). This was super super super, and the sauce gave the brown rice a great flavor.

Yummity yum yum! It was so yummy that I made it two weeks in a row. Next time I make it I am going to use sugar snap peas, cause I love them so much. Comfort foods when it's cold is the best! Lots of layers of flavor and I have added it to my monthly menu.

Luscious Beef! I used sirloin steak instead of ground beef.

5 star all the way. Excellent flavor, just enough sauce. I didn't mix the beans in with the meat but served them on top and along side. I was very generous with the chili flakes. Served over Tofu pasta. This is a definite do again recipe Thanks Willow for a very enjoyable meal.15 January 2016 Assaid made again. This is a super flavoured recipe. This time I cut the recipe in half and as before wasa little heavy handed with the pepper flakes (I love spicy). I cooked the beans early in the day, made the sauce, grated the ginger & sliced the mushrooms - in other words got everything ready. It took me about 15 minutes to put dinner on the table.

Super Yummy! Another winner from Gkwillow. I made this as directed with fresh mushrooms. I enjoyed mine on its own, and Hubby enjoyed his over ramen noodles. Such an easy, healthy and tasty recipe. Freddy Cat says thanks for the beef! Made for the Ground Beef recipe tag game.
