Step by Step Method
Step 1
Make slits in the roast and insert garlic slivers.
Step 2
Generously season all sides of the roast with pepper and add salt to taste.
Step 3
Place the roast in a crock-pot and slowly pour the balsamic vinegar over the top of the roast.
Step 4
Add a bit of water, about 1/4 way up the roast.
Step 5
Toss in the rosemary sprigs and cook on low for 8 to 9 hours or high for 4 to 5 hours.
Step 6
Remove roast from crock, take meat off the bones and serve with a bit of the juices.
Step 7
