Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 (3 to 4 pound) pork roast (bone in)
  • 3 to 4 large cloves garlic, sliced in half
  • 4 ounces yellow onion (1/2 onion, chopped)
  • Fresh rosemary (2-3 sprigs)
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Ground peppercorns (generous sprinkle fresh ground)
  • Salt to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Make slits in the roast and insert garlic slivers.

  • Step 2: Generously season all sides of the roast with pepper and add salt to taste.

  • Step 3: Place the roast in a crock-pot and slowly pour the balsamic vinegar over the top of the roast.

  • Step 4: Add a bit of water, about 1/4 way up the roast.

  • Step 5: Toss in the rosemary sprigs and cook on low for 8 to 9 hours or high for 4 to 5 hours.

  • Step 6: Remove roast from crock, take meat off the bones and serve with a bit of the juices.

  • Step 7: Enjoy!
