Step by Step Method
Step 1
To make the tortilla chips, heat the oven to 350º. Cut the tortillas into triangles, lay them on a baking sheet, and spritz them with cooking spray.
Step 2
In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of sugar mixture over the tops of the tortillas and bake for 12 minutes or until crisp.
Step 3
For homemade strawberry sauce, combine the strawberries, orange juice, and the 2 teaspoons sugar in a blender. Puree the ingredients until smooth.
Step 4
To serve: In individual dessert bowls, place some yogurt, followed by some strawberry sauce, then with some of the chopped strawberries. Garnish with the flaked coconut and/or chocolate shavings. Set the bowl on a dessert plate and place some of the chips around the bowl. Serve immediately.
