Step by Step Method
Step 1
To make pie crust: Crush the Wheaties, then measure.
Step 2
Add melted butter and 1/4 cup sugar together.
Step 3
Form in pie crust set aside.
Step 4
Separate eggs.
Step 5
In top of double boiler, add egg yolk, 2/3 cup sugar, salt, lemon juice and rind
Step 6
Cook over boiling water till thick
Step 7
Chill.
Step 8
Beat egg whites to stiff peak stage. Beat whipping cream; add to egg whites.
Step 9
Add lemon sauce gently.
Step 10
Pour into pie shell.
Step 11
Put in freezer.
Step 12
Serve out of freezer.
