Step by Step Method

Step 1

Cut a loaf of ciabatta bread in half horizontally and toast.

Step 2

In a bowl, mix ground meat with onion, egg, flour, milk, salt and pepper to taste.

Mix well to combine, set aside.

Dressing


Step 4

In a small bowl add sour cream, mayonnaise, milk, red onion, dill, salt and pepper seasoning to taste.

Step 5

Mix well to combine, set aside.

Step 6

Using a small scoop, make meatballs out of the meat mixture.

Step 7

Place oil in a large pan and heat over medium heat.

Step 8

Add meatballs and fry until golden brown on all sides and done in the middle.

Step 9

Remove and drain on a paper towel-covered plate.

Step 10

Place the bottom 1/2 of toasted ciabatta on a cutting board.

Step 11

Spread evenly with a generous helping of prepared dressing.

Step 12

Add salad greens.

Step 13

Cut meatballs into disks to make them easier to place on a sandwich, and evenly lay them on top of the greens.

Step 14

Add more dressing on top bun, if desired.

Step 15

Top with top bun, cut into serving sizes and enjoy.
