Fiery Fusion Garlic Chili Paste
"I can't find garlic chili paste locally and I'm waaaaay too cheap to order it online to be delivered. This is what I can put together at home, with ingredients I typically have in my pantry or easily found in my rural grocery store. You can use a sugar alternative. Servings depends on how much of the paste you're using."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Peel and roughly chop the garlic cloves.
Step 2
Heat the vegetable oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and crushed red chili peppers to the pan.
Step 3
Sauté the garlic and crushed red chili peppers in the oil until the garlic turns golden brown. Be cautious not to burn them.
Step 4
In a bowl, combine the sautéed garlic and chili peppers, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and salt.
Step 5
Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
Step 6
Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor and blend until you achieve a smooth paste-like consistency. If necessary, scrape down the sides of the blender or food processor to ensure everything is well incorporated.

Once the garlic chili paste is smooth, transfer it to a clean jar or airtight container.
Step 8
Store the garlic chili paste in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
