"I've been sticking with this recipe for while now it's a pretty basic recipe but it really good, everyone always asks for this meatloaf at least once a month they love it and I do also. hope you like it!"

Step 1

Beat eggs. Add milk and bread and let stand until bread absorbs liquid. Stir in onion, cheddar cheese, Lawry's seasoning salt, pepper and minced garlic. Add ground beef. Mix well. Shape into a loaf. Place into a loaf pan. Cover with foil. Combine the topping ingredients; set aside.

Step 2

Bake the meatloaf covered (without the topping) at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. After the meatloaf has cooked for 40 minutes, remove from the oven drain all fat from pan, then spoon the topping over meatloaf. Return to the oven uncovered and continue cooking another 30-35 minutes.

mmm very good meatloaf, i used ground turkey but i only had one pound so i cut back the other ingredients accordingly. I paked it in a loaf pan and after 45 minutes turned it out onto an oven proof platter painted on the topping and baked it a further 20 minutes, turned out perfect, held together perfectly too. Baked it in the morning and served it cold for supper cus it was a hot day, sliced beautifully!!! I  We loved the cheese in it !   will be making this again, thanks for posting.
