"This is one of my favorite dishes to serve along side a grilled steak. However, it is just as good with grilled chicken or chops too! And, super easy - and, super quick to prepare. It is super healthy as well."

Step by Step Method
Step 1
Mushrooms ... NOTE: I keep it simple and use a pre-sliced mushroom, such as white/button or cremini. But, you can also add a mix of your favorite mushrooms too. You can usually get the pre-sliced pint size box on sale often; and, it is a great time saver.
Step 2
Saute ... Add most of the butter and the olive oil to a non-stick saute pan; and, bring to medium-medium high heat. Add the mushrooms, onion, and red pepper flakes; and, saute until the mushrooms begin to brown (3-5 minutes). DO NOT add any salt yet.
Step 3
After the mushrooms start to brown, about 5 minutes, add the garlic, a pinch of salt and pepper; and, any extra butter if needed. Saute a couple of minutes on medium heat, stirring often - you don't want the garlic to burn.
Step 4
Spinach and Beans ... Add the spinach and beans; and, toss to combine with the mushrooms and onions. Makes sure everything is combined. Add a little broth or water (1/4 cup), another pinch of salt and pepper; and, toss until everything is mixed together. Make sure you taste. so you can adjust your seasoning. Cook another 3-4 minutes, just until the beans are warmed through; and the spinach is wilted. The broth or water will help the spinach wilt without browning or burning.
Step 5
Serve and ENJOY! ... A perfect side dish especially with grilled steak; but, it really goes with just about anything. And again, feel free to use a mix of your favorite mushrooms. It is really is a quick 15 minute dish.
