Step 1

Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water.

Step 2

Stir in 1 cup of ice cold water. Let sit for 5 minutes.

Step 3

With a mixer, blend in the pudding mix.

Stir in the oranges.

Fold in the whipped topping.

Step 6

Refrigerate 2 hours.

This is full of nice creaminess...we loved the mandarin oranges that kept popping out of the pudding...I put the mixture in individual containers...this made at least 6 servings...this tasted just like the orange/vanilla ice cream you got from the ice cream truck when you were little...it brought back some nice memories...made for "Pick Me" tag game...
