Step by Step Method

Step 1

Mix sherry with cornstarch, salt, pepper and add shrimp, marinate 20 minutes combine next 6 ingredients in a bowl.

Ten stars! I did end up doubling the marinade so that all the shrimp were well coated. When cooking the shrimp, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to include the cornstarch marinade, so I cooked the shrimp without and at the last moment added the liquid. Turned out so well, the hubby kept saying "mmm, mmm, good" with every bite! It looks very pretty on the plate, too, when served over the lettuce. Served this with jasmine rice, brocolli and a bit of Japanese kimchee. Thanks for sharing!!!
