"My son James just loves horchata so I am making this for him. James loves the crunchiness of the raw rice so I am adding a little. If you want that same texture make sure, if you do add rice, that you blend it enough. A review from other site: Yummy. I made the first one for my husband and used the rice, however, I advise against doing this, he was chomping on rice bits as he drank, and he didn't like that. If you do use the rice, I think soaking it first for a bit might work, or maybe grinding it up into a fine powder first. The second one I made, I omitted the rice, and it was much better. The cinnamon is perfect, the almonds are nice and crunchy, though next time I think I'll add less almonds. Thanks for posting"
